Apologies for the late response but this is just a direction into how you could find your Critical path. Kindly forgive me if this is not helpful or what you wanted!
Critical path will be derived from the shortest Activity on Node diagram that cannot be crashed any further.
If you see the activities that are required - the below indicative activities could be on the critical path for SD, These maybe textual but it gives you the direction to determine the critical path. Any activity that do not have the sign-off will end in lag and can impact the completion of the project.
- Defining the value case for the SD implementation & sign-off
- Blueprinting the Business process requirements as To-Be processes & sign-off
- Blueprinting the technical architecture including interface recordings & sign-off
- Data Migration requirements & strategy finalized, signed off
- Realizing the architecture and business processes as per the signed-off docs
- Identifying the critical processes & their test cases based on the value case
- Data Migration completed as per strategy
- Ensuring SIT success for the critical processes and the required interfaces & sign-off
- Ensuring UAT success & sign-off
If you want to clarify something in detail beyond the above set, kindly let me know your question so that someone else with SD expertise also can contribute.
Warm Regards,
Ranjith Raghunathan
